## Description

Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) is an innovative international center based in San Sebastián dedicated to the thought, research, and experimental practices of cinema. Established in 2017 through the collaboration of key cinematic institutions, including the Filmoteca Vasca and the San Sebastián Film Festival, EQZE seeks to redefine the filmmaker's journey by providing a radical, reflective pedagogy.

Focusing on a holistic understanding of cinema, EQZE prioritizes the integration of theory and practice, inviting students to explore unique perspectives and forge new realities in film. Their immersive postgraduate programs combine hands-on experimentation with rigorous academic inquiry, encouraging the dismantling of traditional barriers between professional and amateur filmmaking.

With state-of-the-art facilities housed in the Tabakalera International Center for Contemporary Culture, EQZE not only fosters a vibrant community of filmmakers but also serves as a hub for research and dialogue. The school envisions a collective learning experience where individual creativity flourishes, making it a distinct leader in the evolution of cinematic education.
