## Description

ERDA, or the Electronic Research Data Archive at the University of Copenhagen (KU/UCPH), is a specialized platform designed to store, share, analyze, and archive research data. It primarily caters to employees, their collaborators, and students, offering a secure and centralized storage solution for both personal and shared files. ERDA features interactive analysis tools and archiving capabilities to ensure safe data management and publication. Accessible as a secure network drive from any location, it also includes a standalone file synchronization service similar to Dropbox, with data securely stored locally at UCPH.

Provided by the SCIENCE HPC Center, ERDA is mainly for the faculty of Science, but is also available for others focusing on data archiving and publication using UCPH Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs). While ERDA is committed to strong security measures, it is not designed for highly sensitive personal data as defined by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For handling such data, users are directed to the sister facility, SIF, specifically approved for that purpose.
