## Description

ERDERA is a European partnership for rare diseases, bringing together more than 170 public and private organisations across 37 countries. Its mission is to unite knowledge, resources and expertise and strengthen research that can improve the lives of people affected by rare diseases. ERDERA supports research projects throughout their journey, from planning and design to execution, while promoting the involvement of patients as partners in developing, carrying out and evaluating research.

The partnership offers services spanning funding, clinical research, data, specialist expertise, innovation and training. Its Clinical Research Network connects researchers and supports data sharing, clinical trials and preparation for advanced therapies. The Data Hub promotes connected, findable, interoperable and reusable data, with attention to privacy and data-holder control. Expertise services provide tailored support, while the accelerator helps promising ideas become investor-ready projects. ERDERA also provides education, international collaboration and resources for researchers, patients and other stakeholders, including a learning portal and clinical trials tools.
