## Description

Escherheim is an agricultural business in Benken, Switzerland, run by the Schnider-Glarner family. Its activities span farming, animal husbandry and machinery, combining traditional farm work with practical equipment development. The farm offers meat directly from the farm and raises dairy cattle and pigs, while also providing pension-horse services and hoof care. Its approach to land management focuses on regenerative agriculture, supporting soil life and microorganisms to help nourish healthy plants. Escherheim is transitioning to organic farming and states that, from 2024, its products may be marketed under the Bio-Knospe label.

Through its workshop and Schnider Maschinenbau, Escherheim also produces electric-powered wheelbarrows designed to assist with stable work. These machines can transport manure, bedding, feed and other materials, helping with everyday farm tasks. The business also undertakes custom metalworking projects, including a customer-built hemispherical fire-bowl grill with a side opening and solid grill grate. Its range of farm-related work and products reflects a hands-on focus on agriculture, sustainability and useful machinery.
