## Description

Stiftelsen Eschner is a foundation dedicated to promoting health, well-being and quality of life in Turku and the surrounding area. Its work continues the legacy of merchant Carl Gustaf Eschner, who in 1853 left funds to establish a free hospital in Turku. Today, the foundation advances its mission through grants and its own initiatives, supporting activities and projects for people of all ages, from children and young people to adults and older people.

The foundation invites organisations and project teams to apply for support for work that strengthens health and well-being. It shares application guidelines, information for grant recipients and details of awarded grants. Its initiatives also include recreation for older people and the development of Kaskia, a new neighbourhood on Kaskis Hill focused on health, housing and community.

Stiftelsen Eschner communicates news and stories about its projects and supported activities, and provides information about its history, governance and asset management.
