## Description

Eseltratsch is a humorous, nature-inspired storytelling brand created by author Tom Fandré, drawing on experiences and encounters in a peaceful village in the Dolomites. Its stories imagine five distinctive donkeys sharing their thoughts, observations, and wisdom, blending wit and irony with warmth, gentle philosophy, and a close connection to nature. Written to appeal to children and adults, the tales invite readers to see everyday life from a clever, mischievous, and affectionate donkey’s perspective. The brand’s books are available through booksellers and include an English-language edition, Donkey Gossip. Eseltratsch also offers donkey-themed apparel and merchandise, including T-shirts, hoodies, and accessories featuring playful designs. Alongside its books and shop, the website introduces the donkeys and their alpine home in South Tyrol’s Eggental, near the Rosengarten and Latemar peaks. It also highlights donkey walks at Hotel Pfösl, where visitors can enjoy a guided outdoor experience with the animals amid the region’s mountain scenery. Together, the stories, products, and encounters celebrate donkeys, humor, and the restorative appeal of nature.
