## Description

Esme Azam is a cultural and educational institute founded in 2011 in Mashhad by a group of seminary students and university students. Its stated mission is to promote Islamic culture and address superstition, while helping people engage with Islamic prayers and protective inscriptions (hirz). The institute says its work is guided by senior scholars in the seminaries of Qom and Mashhad and is affiliated with the Rahpouyan Esme Azam educational and research institute.

Its online store offers written prayers and hirz, including versions attributed to Imam Jawad, Imam Ali, and other revered figures, as well as Quranic surahs and religious inscriptions. Products include the Imam Jawad hirz, prayer texts, and engraved stones and rings. The website also provides educational material about sources, traditions, recommended etiquette, and the use of these texts, alongside articles on Islamic perspectives on superstition and spiritual practices. Readers can find biographies, reported experiences, scholarly opinions, and answers to common questions.
