## Description

Espacios Abiertos is a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on promoting transparency and accountability in public finances. Founded in 2014, the brand aims to empower citizens in Puerto Rico by providing them with critical information about government expenditures and decision-making processes. Espacios Abiertos actively engages in various initiatives, including the Fiscal Observatory, which allows citizens to track and understand how public funds are allocated and spent.

The organization offers tools like the "Quién Me Representa" platform, which connects voters with information about candidates and electoral processes, encouraging informed participation in democracy. Additionally, they emphasize the importance of public access to information, advocating for policies that foster civic engagement and greater public scrutiny of fiscal activities.

Through their blog, public consultations, and expert discussions, Espacios Abiertos continually informs and mobilizes citizens, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to influence decisions that impact their communities. By championing accountability and transparency, Espacios Abiertos strives to create a more equitable society for all Puerto Ricans.
