## Description

Espai Defensa Personal (Espai DP) is a women-focused training center in Barcelona’s Baix Guinardó/Sagrada Família area, located at Calle Padilla 379. Created as a space designed for women, it combines physical training, self-protection and psychological learning in a supportive, confidence-building community. Its programs include women’s self-defense, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing and functional training, with classes organized in small groups. The center presents training as a way to develop not only strength and practical skills, but also resilience, awareness and self-confidence.

Espai DP also offers tailored workshops in Barcelona and across Catalonia for groups seeking integrated self-defense and applied psychology. These sessions are adapted to participants’ needs, circumstances and objectives, and cover both physical techniques and psychological tools for preventing and managing potentially risky situations. The center invites newcomers to book a free trial class at its Barcelona location; this offer does not apply to off-site workshops. Through classes and workshops, Espai Defensa Personal aims to help women learn, train and feel more prepared in everyday life.
