The Hellenic Association of Energy Suppliers (ΕΣΠΕΝ) is dedicated to ensuring the optimal functioning of energy supply in Greece for the benefit of Greek consumers, as well as safeguarding the rights of energy suppliers. Our association represents a significant number of customers, totaling 1.825.900, in both electricity and natural gas supply. With a monthly electricity consumption of 1.45 TWh, our members hold a substantial share of the market, accounting for 35.48% of the total volume load. Additionally, our members represent 99% of the gas consumption throughout the country. The main objectives of the association include promoting energy supply issues related to electricity and natural gas to consumers, conducting studies and formulating proposals in the field of energy supply, and developing initiatives to further enhance energy supply in the Greek market under conditions of healthy competition. We take pride in actively participating in legislative and regulatory processes concerning energy markets and foster international collaborations in the energy sector. Our focus also extends to promoting various energy services and technologies, such as electric mobility, energy storage, and demand-response solutions.
