## Description

Espoon Pesis ry is a Finnish baseball club based in Espoo, bringing children, young people and adults together through pesäpallo, Finland’s traditional baseball-style sport. The club welcomes participants as players, parents, supporters or anyone interested in the game, and describes its community as active and inclusive. Its programmes span a wide range of ages and experience levels, including Pesisliikkari for children aged two to five, introductory and neighbourhood-based sessions, junior teams, youth recreational play and adult recreational baseball. Competitive teams include women’s Ykköspesis and men’s Maakuntasarja, with the women’s senior team earning promotion to Ykköspesis after the 2026 season. Espoon Pesis also supports the wider game through umpire development and guidance for young officials, and provides club information, team resources and details about fields and apparel. The organisation works to develop its activities in cooperation with the city, the Finnish Pesäpallo Federation and the Tähtiseura quality programme. It also offers partnership opportunities and participates in community initiatives, including a charity match.
