## Description

Espoon ITF Taekwon-Do ry is a martial arts club in Espoo, Finland, offering Taekwon-Do activities for children and adults. The club welcomes beginners through introductory courses and provides opportunities for families to practise the sport together. Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art focused on kicks, strikes and blocks, with training that also covers patterns, sparring, self-defence, breaking techniques and special techniques.

The club’s beginner course introduces core techniques and prepares participants for a belt test after 12 sessions. It is open to people aged nine and up, with no upper age limit. For younger children, Nappulawondo offers an introduction for ages four to eight in a supportive setting. Sessions combine basic Taekwon-Do techniques with games, obstacle courses and balance activities, while developing concentration, coordination, body control, listening and social skills.

Training takes place at schools in Espoo, with separate weekly sessions for beginners and young children. The club also provides information about fees, equipment, schedules and registration, and prospective participants can contact the club to ask about availability.
