## Description

ESSIA, the Estonian Ski and Snowboard Instructors Association, brings together licensed, professional ski and snowboard instructors and promotes safe, methodical mountain-sport instruction and recreational activity. The association is an official member of the international umbrella organisations IAESS and INTERSKI, and supports the use of qualified instructors in Estonian ski schools.

ESSIA offers introductory and continuing education for people seeking instructor qualifications, working with international organisations to provide opportunities to earn internationally recognised instructor licences. Its courses help participants develop their technical riding skills and improve their enjoyment on the slopes. The association also provides training programmes and learning resources, with course dates available through its calendar.

Beyond instructor education, ESSIA organises training sessions, competitions and corporate events, and can offer tailored solutions. Membership is open to instructors holding international licences from recognised organisations such as ISIA, IAESS or IVSI, or from other official national associations and training bodies. ESSIA also fosters a sense of community among instructors through shared club activities.
