Estancia Tanamá is a Puerto Rico-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Dr. Ana V. Caceres Agosto to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned animals. Its long-term goal is to build the island’s first comprehensive animal rescue and rehabilitation center, providing shelter, veterinary care, recovery, rehoming, and permanent sanctuary for animals in need. While the facility is being developed, the organization is already rescuing animals from the streets, arranging medical care, and helping them move toward safety. Its work also includes funding trap-neuter-return programs and supporting efforts to establish shelter space for street dogs and cats.
