## Description

The Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity (CoDE), established in 2013 at The University of Manchester, is the UK's premier research hub dedicated to examining ethnic, racial, and religious inequalities. Focusing on vital themes such as economic disparities, educational access, and cultural politics, CoDE engages an interdisciplinary team of experts in sociology, demography, health, and public policy. Collaborating with prestigious universities across England and Scotland, CoDE conducts impactful research to illuminate the changing dynamics of ethnic groups within British society.

CoDE's initiatives include significant projects like the Evidence for Equality National Survey and investigations into racial bias in the judiciary, alongside extensive policy briefings and valuable insights into diverse sectors such as the creative industries and the gig economy. Funded by reputable organizations including the Economic and Social Research Council and the Leverhulme Trust, CoDE strives to disseminate research findings to policymakers, practitioners, and the community, fostering informed discussions and actionable solutions to address social inequities.
