## Description

Ethnofest is a renowned brand that was established in 2010 as a civil non-profit society with a mission to organize the Athens Ethnographic Film Festival. However, their vision stretches far beyond just the festival. They aim to promote Documentary, Ethnography, and Visual Anthropology, as well as the use of audiovisual media in social research. They achieve this through a diverse range of activities and collaborations, including video production, distribution, workshops, and lectures. Ethnofest is not only a platform for expanding the dialogue on Visual Anthropology and disseminating knowledge of social and humanitarian sciences but also a meeting place for lecturers, researchers, and students. Their valuable partners include prestigious institutions such as the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the British Film Institute, Goldsmiths University, and the University of Manchester. Through their initiatives, Ethnofest actively contributes to the ever-evolving fields of visual anthropology and multimodal ethnography. With a strong focus on education and research, Ethnofest is dedicated to creating a vibrant community of individuals passionate about exploring the world through the lens of audiovisual media.
