## Description

Ethnographiques.org is an international, open-access journal in the humanities and social sciences, publishing ethnographic research and related scholarship. Its issues bring together themed dossiers and varied articles, alongside reviews of books and other works. The journal also invites researchers to submit articles, propose reviews, and respond to calls for contributions.

Its current issue examines the promises of urban infrastructures, exploring how projects and material systems shape city life through hopes, concerns, delays, and indifference. Contributions address subjects including cycling, housing, urban development, participatory greening, major construction projects, and infrastructure in diverse global settings. A forthcoming companion issue will consider how people live in and experience the city, with attention to the material, social, and political dimensions of urban infrastructure.

Ethnographiques.org is sustained by its editorial and scientific communities, reviewers, and institutional supporters, including CNRS, the French Ministry of Culture, the University of Neuchâtel’s Institute of Ethnology, Héritages, and the Musée d’ethnographie de Neuchâtel. Individuals and institutions can support the journal’s open dissemination of research through a supporting subscription.
