## Description

Eesti Teadusinfosüsteem, known as ETIS, is an information system that brings together information about research and research activity in Estonia. Its coverage includes Estonian researchers, research institutions, projects, publications, and other results of research activities. By collecting these categories in one system, ETIS provides an overview of key people and organisations involved in research, the projects they undertake, and the publications and other outcomes associated with research work. The system’s focus is on research-related information rather than a single institution or field, reflecting the breadth of Estonia’s research landscape. ETIS can therefore serve as a central reference point for information about researchers and research organisations, as well as the activities and outputs connected with them. Its contents span both the participants in research and the work produced through research projects. In this way, ETIS supports the visibility and organisation of information about Estonian research, bringing together records that would otherwise relate to separate researchers, institutions, projects, publications, and other research results.
