## Description

WSA (European Youth Award) is a brand that motivates young individuals to produce digital projects with a positive social impact on their communities. Established in 2012, WSA aims to foster social sustainable impact and offer support and wider opportunities for young digital entrepreneurs globally. As part of the global contest and award series, WSA highlights digital solutions for the UN SDGs. With a belief in the power of technology, WSA brings together social entrepreneurs, tech start-ups, government partners, corporates, and international organizations. Originally an initiative organized by the International Center for New Media (ICNM), EYA (European Youth Award) merges with WSA from 2020. The first European Youth Award contest was held in 2012, and since then, it has grown to include initiatives such as Game Jams, mentorship programs, and SHacks (social hackathons). WSA European Young Innovators is committed to bringing young creative minds and international experts together to create digital solutions to improve the world.
