## Description

Eurafrica Conservation Projects – ODV is an Italian nonprofit organization that has promoted wildlife conservation through scientific research and education since 2018. Its work focuses primarily on European and African bird species, especially those that are threatened, ecologically important, or represent distinct evolutionary lineages. The organization conducts field research using direct observation and monitoring, biotelemetry, and population genomics to understand species’ ecological needs, genetic structure, and use of space. It applies this evidence to support conservation planning, including management guidance for protected-area authorities, action plans, and ex situ conservation programs.

Eurafrica also works to turn research findings into practical measures, collaborating with land managers and other stakeholders to reduce pressures on vulnerable populations. Through educational initiatives for the public and local communities, it promotes awareness and coexistence with wildlife. The organization shares its work through scientific publications and news, and offers consulting services related to conservation. Supporters can contribute by donating or becoming members.
