## Description

NCC Bulgaria is the National Competence Centre for high-performance computing (HPC) in Bulgaria, established through the EuroCC projects. It operates as a consortium led by the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, with Sofia University and the University for National and World Economy as partners. Together, these institutions bring HPC expertise, resources, and connections across industry and academia.

The centre helps businesses, public administrations, and academic and research organisations understand and adopt HPC. Its services include tailored consultations, technical guidance, and information about suitable expertise and computing resources. NCC Bulgaria also provides HPC training, shares details of courses offered by competence centres in other countries, and develops a map of Bulgarian HPC competencies. Through these activities, it promotes the practical use of advanced computing in industry and supports users at different stages of their HPC journey.

As part of Europe’s network of National Competence Centres, NCC Bulgaria contributes to collaboration, knowledge exchange, and access to national and European HPC opportunities.
