## Description

The European Food Banks Federation (FEBA) is a network of 351 Food Banks across 30 European countries. Their primary focus is to prevent food waste and reduce food insecurity. As the socio-economic crisis impacts Europe, FEBA and its members play a vital role in promoting access to food, especially for those in need. FEBA's work in 2020 has been centered around the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their members have worked tirelessly to rescue surplus food from the supply chain and ensure its safe redistribution to charities supporting an increasing number of people in need. In addition to their operational efforts, FEBA engages in data collection and digital transformation projects to improve efficiency. They also advocate for policies that facilitate food donation, prevent food waste, and reduce food insecurity and social exclusion. FEBA works closely with European institutions, international organizations, EU-level NGOs, and stakeholders to achieve these objectives. If you want to support FEBA's mission, whether as an individual or a company, they welcome any help. Stay updated on their work by signing up for their newsletter and following them on social media.
