## Description

The European Hockey Clubs (E.H.C.) is a pioneering alliance established to advocate for the interests of professional hockey clubs across Europe. Founded in March 2016, following a critical need for improved governance and representation in European team sports, the E.H.C. empowers clubs by ensuring their voices are heard in international hockey discussions and decision-making processes.

The alliance focuses on key areas such as player recruitment, development, and employment, recognizing the significant role clubs play in nurturing talent. The E.H.C. serves as an employer organization, offering resources and support aimed at fostering expertise and networking among its members. Additionally, the association actively collaborates with governing bodies like the IIHF to enhance European club competitions and govern vital matters that impact clubs, including player transfers and international schedules.

By promoting fair play and integrity, the E.H.C. not only safeguards the interests of its members but also contributes to the sustainable growth and success of European hockey as a whole.
