## Description

The European Mathematical Society (EMS) is the premier learned society for mathematicians across Europe. With the mission to advance and enhance all aspects of mathematics on the continent, the EMS plays a vital role in promoting mathematical research, fostering connections between mathematics and society, as well as engaging with European institutions and contributing to mathematical education. The EMS boasts a strong network, comprising approximately 60 national mathematical societies, 50 mathematical research centers and departments, and over 3,000 individual members. As the face of European mathematicians, the EMS serves as a pivotal intermediary, forging connections between mathematicians and policymakers in Brussels. Whether through its various services, events, or sponsored activities, the EMS works tirelessly to establish a strong sense of identity and collaboration among mathematicians across Europe. Joining the EMS provides mathematicians with valuable networking opportunities, access to a vast knowledge base, and a chance to contribute to the flourishing mathematical landscape in Europe.
