Euro is an independent research institution and forum of debate that focuses on providing innovative and forward-looking analysis on the Euro-Mediterranean region and Africa in an emerging multipolar world. Founded in 2012, Euro aims to contribute decisively to the transition process in these regions amidst unprecedented global financial and economic crises and geopolitical uncertainties. Euro brings together leading economists and experts to think for the future and serves as a leading independent research institution and forum for political and socio-economic reforms in the Mediterranean with an opening to Africa. Their mission is to promote sustainability, inclusiveness, regional economic integration, and prosperity. They strive to rethink Euro-Mediterranean and African partnerships in light of the new dynamics of a multi-polar world. Euro develops innovative thinking and research in political, socio-economic, and financial aspects. They monitor and contribute to the reform processes in the Euro-Mediterranean and Africa. They also provide recommendations for achieving inclusive and sustainable growth, regional integration, and renewed partnerships and policies. Euro disseminates new political and socio-economic thinking through research, publications, and public events. The organization is governed by a Governing Board, with an Executive Board responsible for strategy, management, and day-to-day operations. Euro collaborates with a network of universities, research centers, and think tanks. It builds on the collaborative research network called MEDPRO and seeks funding from its founders, foundations, international partners, and European Union funding programs. Euro is committed to promoting transparent, responsible, inclusive, and sustainable economic development in the Mediterranean and Africa.
