## Description

SCS Software is a game development company founded in 1997 and based in Prague, Czech Republic. The studio creates detailed vehicle and trucking simulation games, including American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. Its work combines vehicle physics, traffic behavior, country-specific road rules, and carefully recreated landscapes and landmarks to build immersive driving worlds.

A central part of the company’s development work is Prism3D, its in-house 3D game engine, which SCS Software builds and continually improves to meet the needs of its projects. The studio also supports an open approach to modding, giving players tools to create and experiment with game assets. This helps connect the company’s development process with an active community of players and real-world trucking enthusiasts, whose feedback informs ongoing improvements.

SCS Software brings together specialists in areas such as vehicle technology, sound and music, road and map design, and game assets. The company shares project news and career opportunities online and invites experienced professionals and new talent to join its team.
