## Description

EUSTORY is an innovative network of non-governmental organizations dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of European history among young people. Founded in 2001 by the Körber-Stiftung in Germany, it connects over 30 civic organizations across more than 20 countries. Through its engaging historical research competitions, EUSTORY encourages young individuals to explore historical narratives in their surroundings, with approximately 252,000 participants and 102,000 projects submitted to date.

The network not only promotes awareness of local and regional history but also emphasizes the importance of a critical perspective on the past for creating a united European future. Award recipients are invited to participate in international EUSTORY Next Generation Summits, which facilitate intercultural dialogue and understanding, reinforcing the value of history as a tool for peace and tolerance. Additionally, the EUSTORY History Campus offers online resources for blogging and virtual classrooms, enriching the learning experience for the next generation of historians and engaged citizens.
