Eurovelo and KTM are dedicated to promoting sustainable cycling adventures along the historic Green Belt, a unique natural and cultural landscape that emerged from the remnants of the Iron Curtain. This collaborative initiative invites cyclists to explore the scenic routes along the Morava River that forms the border between Slovakia and Austria, utilizing convenient crossings and ferries for cross-border travel. 

The Eurovelo 13, known as the Iron Curtain Trail, spans 10,400 kilometers across Europe, with a 87-kilometer segment in Slovakia showcasing diverse terrains and rich heritage, including UNESCO sites. Complementing this is the KTM (Kamp-Thaya-March) cycle path, renowned as one of Austria's most picturesque long-distance routes, covering 445 kilometers through the breathtaking landscapes of Waldviertel and Weinviertel.

These paths not only offer a thrilling cycling experience with manageable difficulty levels, but also highlight the importance of preserving the cultural and natural heritage of the Green Belt.
