## Description

EVACT is an event company based in Saarbrücken, Germany, specializing in distinctive experiences in sport and culture. Its work focuses particularly on sporting events designed to engage participants and audiences emotionally while bringing people together. The company aims to make Saarbrücken and the wider Saarland region more attractive through memorable events that also create social value.

EVACT’s featured projects include the SKY RUN, a stair-climbing challenge in central Saarbrücken that takes participants up 266 steps across 13 floors to the roof of the Diskonto high-rise. Another project, Sofis City Cross, is an obstacle race through city locations including the Diskonto passage, Schlossgarten, Berliner Promenade, Bahnhofstraße and St. Johanner Markt. These examples reflect the company’s approach of turning urban spaces into active event settings.

EVACT works closely with nonprofit associations and organizations connected to its events. It states that at least 50 percent of after-tax profit is donated to these participating groups, supporting local community initiatives alongside its event activities.
