## Description

Evan Flys is an aviation-focused website exploring the people, aircraft, and events of the San Francisco Bay Area aviation community. Through pilot interviews, photography, videos, audio clips, and personal accounts, it shares the stories and excitement of flight with aviation enthusiasts and curious visitors. The site features conversations with World War II aviators, current military personnel, Coast Guard pilots, and airshow performers, including Chuck Yeager, Bud Anderson, Vicky Benzing, and Melissa Pemberton. Its coverage includes aircraft such as the C-130 Hercules, V-22 Osprey, T-33, and Super Stearman, alongside historic and contemporary aviation subjects. Visitors can also browse reviews and photo features from airshows, air races, museum visits, and aviation gatherings across California, including the Reno Air Races, Wings Over Wine Country, and events at Travis and Hiller. Additional sections cover aviation adventures, favorite airplanes, Young Eagles, Build A Plane, and related history. Evan Flys presents these materials as an enthusiast’s guide to local aviation, supported by contributions from photographers and links to their work.
