Evergreen Park Community High School District 231, also known as Evergreen Park, has a rich history and a commitment to providing a diverse learning environment for its students. Established in 1952, Evergreen Park Community High School opened its doors in 1955, accommodating 176 students and nine teachers. Over the years, the school has expanded its facilities to meet the growing needs of its student population, including classrooms, an auditorium, gym facilities, a swimming pool, and a Learning Resource Center.

In 2019, Evergreen Park Community High School purchased the Evergreen Park Racquet and Fitness Club, which has been renovated to serve as a space for physical education classes, student athletes, marching band, and other activities. The school draws students from various schools and districts in the area, and the boundaries of District 231 align with the Village of Evergreen Park. Evergreen Park Community High School is dedicated to providing a comprehensive curriculum that challenges and enlightens its students.
