## Description

Every Australian Counts is a grassroots campaign dedicated to ensuring the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) fulfills its promise of support for individuals with disabilities across Australia. Founded in 2011, the organization has rallied hundreds of thousands of supporters, including people with disabilities, their families, carers, and advocates, to fight for fair treatment and adequate resources. The campaign played a pivotal role in the introduction of the NDIS, which began its rollout in 2013, providing essential services to over 573,000 Australians by the end of 2023. Every Australian Counts offers a wealth of resources including detailed information on navigating the NDIS, real-life stories from participants, and up-to-date news on policy changes and community initiatives. Their commitment extends beyond the initial launch of the NDIS; they continue to advocate for improvements and secure funding, ensuring the scheme operates effectively for everyone. Through community engagement, campaigns, and educational initiatives, Every Australian Counts remains a vital force in promoting the rights and well-being of Australians with disabilities.
