## Description

Chess960, also known as Fischer Random Chess, is an innovative variant of traditional chess that introduces a unique twist to the game. Created by world chess champion Bobby Fischer, Chess960 features 960 possible starting positions, allowing players to shake off the deep openings familiarity that often characterizes standard chess. This randomization aims to enhance creativity and skill, making chess more accessible to players of all levels.

The setup maintains familiar rules for piece movement, pawn promotion, and check conditions, ensuring that the core essence of chess remains intact. Notably, the king and rooks must follow distinct castling rules, adding an intriguing strategic layer. Players can enjoy an interactive experience on platforms like EvoChess.com, where they can learn how to play and compete against others. With its engaging format and emphasis on tactical ingenuity, Chess960 transforms the classic game, challenging players to think differently and adapt quickly in an ever-changing landscape.
