## Description

EWA Capital is a Bogotá-based venture capital firm investing in early-stage technology companies across Spanish-speaking Latin America. Its strategy focuses on seed-stage to pre-Series A businesses with a minimum viable product, demonstrated market fit, and a growing base of recurring customers. The firm backs disruptive, scalable business models that use technology to address challenges and support progress across the region. EWA is sector-agnostic and places gender equity at the center of its impact-focused approach. It allocates 40% of its fund to companies meeting defined gender representation and women-benefit criteria, and expects portfolio businesses to actively promote equality and women’s empowerment. EWA invests between $200,000 and $1.5 million in startups ready to scale. Beyond capital, it offers hands-on support through operating expertise, governance guidance, fundraising assistance, strategic connections, and help developing and measuring impact strategies. By working closely with entrepreneurs and drawing on its team, institutional investors, and broader network, EWA aims to build lasting partnerships, strengthen businesses, and generate competitive returns alongside meaningful social progress.
