## Description

Excel Maths provides mathematics tuition for students in Years 5 to 12, with sessions held at 12 Birkdale Street, Colebee. All tuition is conducted by Dr. Raveen Goundar, an experienced mathematics teacher who has taught Years 7 to 12 in NSW and at universities in Australia. He holds a PhD in mathematics, earned gold medals in mathematics during his bachelor’s and postgraduate studies, and has authored scientific research papers and received US patents for his inventions. He currently teaches at an independent high school and has a record of strong HSC mathematics results.

Excel Maths aims to make mathematics meaningful, develop students’ subject knowledge, and build confidence and motivation. Lessons can be tailored to students’ needs: they are encouraged to send topics they find challenging at least a day beforehand, by email or SMS, so sessions can target specific areas. Teaching also incorporates real-life applications, independent learning, class discussion, and practice with HSC-style questions.
