## Description

Exitcom Recycling is a Turkish company focused on electronic waste management, resource recovery and sustainability. The company describes its facility as Turkey’s first and only integrated waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) recycling plant. Its services include battery recovery, electronic waste recycling and information security. Exitcom explains that discarded electronics are collected, sorted and processed so that valuable metals and recyclable materials can be recovered, while hazardous substances are safely managed.

Since 2003, Exitcom has worked with municipalities, electronics retailers and supermarket chains across Turkey to establish collection systems that make it easier for consumers to dispose of electronic waste. The company also shares information about waste reduction, reuse, recycling, carbon emissions and sustainable resource use through its blog and educational content.

Alongside its recycling work, Exitcom runs social responsibility initiatives, including Exitcom Campus, Exitcom Event, Empathy Caravan, Exitcom Podcast, Exitcom Project and Exitcom Art. These activities offer opportunities for public engagement and collaboration around sustainability.
