## Description

Expedition Base Camp is a not-for-profit online platform created to support the planning, promotion, and participation of expeditions and adventures around the world. A social enterprise initiative of Beyond Exploration, it aims to help expedition teams increase the impact and lasting legacy of their work by making preparation more thorough, promotion more effective, and participation easier.

The platform provides a free, straightforward way for teams to submit and promote expeditions, helping them reach a wider audience and share their work with the expedition community. Users can explore expedition listings and blogs, read articles, and find ideas and resources to support their own projects. The site also connects experienced professionals, explorers, scientists, educators, creators, and people new to expeditions, encouraging collaboration and the exchange of knowledge.

Expedition Base Camp features projects from around the world, including field research, conservation, cultural exploration, and long-distance journeys. Teams can share updates and invite others to follow their work, while visitors can discover opportunities to learn from and participate in expedition initiatives.
