## Description

Its educational concepts put health at the center and are designed around children’s everyday lives and learning styles. Through engaging activities, expika promotes wellbeing while building confidence, skills, and equal opportunities from an early age. The organization draws on many years of pedagogical experience, bases its concepts on scientific findings, and has them regularly reviewed by recognized experts.

Its programs focus particularly on movement and nutrition. Kindersprint is a movement initiative for primary school children, using a course with three light barriers to record times for reaction, sprinting, turning, and slalom. Children receive precise results and an enjoyable introduction to physical activity. The 5 Zwerge program offers nutrition workshops for preschool children, introducing fruit and vegetables through playful learning and characters such as Gustav Gurke and Anna Apfel.

Expika works with educational institutions and project partners across Germany, and welcomes partners and donations to help children explore healthy movement and eating.
