## Description

Explorer Chartbooks, published by Lewis Offshore Ltd., provides navigational charts and cruising information for boaters exploring the Bahamas. Founded by cruisers Monty and Sara Lewis, the series grew from their search for reliable routes, soundings, anchorages, and local facilities in less-charted destinations. Since its first publication in 1995, Explorer has developed its charting through continued research and advances in cartography and navigation technology.

The collection includes chartbooks for the Near Bahamas, Exumas and Ragged Islands, and Far Bahamas, alongside individual charts such as the Bahamas Overview, Sea of Abaco, and Elizabeth Harbour. Chartbooks feature detailed soundings, true courses, magnetic variation, topographical information, settlement facilities, marina listings, and tide tables.
