## Description

Crazy Cockatoo Games creates Explorers of StarSea, a fantasy setting that draws inspiration from classic sea-faring adventure stories such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Treasure Island, and Treasure Planet. In this imaginative world, players command age-of-sail starships across seas of void and æther, exploring uncharted regions, mysterious islands, and dangerous frontiers.

StarSea is divided into seven distinct seas, each offering three levels of exploration. On the Open Sea, adventurers chart floating islands; on the High Sea, they face powerful storms and encounter majestic, mythic creatures; and in the Deep Sea, they seek treasure guarded by fearsome monsters. Each environment brings its own challenges and rewards, calling for specialized vessels and skill.

The setting combines fantasy adventure with elemental alchemy, sigils, spiritual and abyssal forces known as mystica, and futuristic fringe science. Its mythology is still in development, so some setting details may change. Crazy Cockatoo Games is also developing FxRPG, a tabletop roleplaying game designed to support Explorers of StarSea.
