## Description

Explore the Backcountry is an outdoor adventure website documenting the journeys of Wayne and Brad Jennings, a father-and-son team who explore the Canadian wilderness by canoe and on foot. Based in Ontario, the site shares their trips through scenic landscapes and backcountry routes, offering readers a window into the challenges and rewards of wilderness travel. Its content includes trip reports, route maps, articles, practical tips, gear guides, photographs, and high-definition videos. Topics range from camping, food and cooking, and paddling to outdoor clothing, footwear, backpacks, and photography equipment. The site also features race information and advice on camping and taking photos and videos outdoors. Featured expeditions include canoe journeys along Lake Superior’s coast and explorations of creek systems, where changing environmental conditions can shape the adventure. Visitors can browse the team’s latest stories and videos, view trip-related imagery, and follow updates through Facebook and Instagram. Explore the Backcountry aims to inspire others to discover the outdoors and plan their own backcountry adventures.
