## Description

STOP, or Stopping Tobacco Organizations and Products, is a global tobacco industry watchdog committed to exposing and countering the harmful practices of the tobacco industry, thereby strengthening public health policies to save lives. Through a combination of rigorous monitoring, research, and reporting, STOP equips policymakers, public health advocates, and the community with crucial insights into industry tactics that undermine health initiatives.

STOP addresses pressing issues such as youth addiction, environmental harm caused by tobacco production, and inequities exacerbated by targeted marketing practices. Their research reveals how Big Tobacco exploits vulnerable populations and employs cunning marketing strategies to maintain its consumer base. Featured content highlights critical concerns, including the emergence of nicotine pouches as a potential youth epidemic.

In addition to offering research resources, STOP encourages public engagement, inviting individuals to report industry misconduct and participate in efforts to combat tobacco-related challenges. By holding the industry accountable, STOP plays a vital role in advancing global health and promoting a smoke-free future.
