## Description

Extreme Dreams is the adventure platform and personal showcase of Dean Dunbar, a blind adventurer whose challenges demonstrate that failing vision need not mean playing it safe. After being registered blind at 29, Dean took part in a charity tandem skydive that changed his life. Since then, he has completed approximately 150 activities and challenges worldwide and achieved 30 world firsts, particularly in open-water swimming and paddleboarding.

The website brings together more than 100 accounts of his adventures, with blogs, photographs, videos and media features. Visitors can explore challenges spanning stand-up paddleboarding, prone paddling, swimming, sea kayaking, mountain biking, climbing, canyoning, skydiving and powerboating. Highlights include paddling to St Kilda, swimming the English Channel and taking on the Pentland Firth. The archive follows Dean’s journey across decades and locations, with recent updates documenting competitions and endurance challenges. Extreme Dreams also provides information about Dean’s speaking and sponsorship, alongside opportunities to follow his stories and media appearances.
