## Description

The FABE Institute of Sustainability (FIS) is a digital learning platform focused on preparing young people to contribute to climate action and sustainable development. Its approach combines learning with practical experience, encouraging participants to practise, lead, innovate, and create impact. The institute offers courses, certifications, mentorship, project development, research, and related opportunities to help learners build knowledge and skills for developing sustainable solutions.

Course topics include circular economy, biodiversity, waste management, renewable energy, and climate change, alongside general studies and a multi-level EcoLeader track. The site also highlights initiatives including EcoSchoolsNG, TidyNigeria, EcoLeaders, and WasteWise Women. Together, these programmes reflect FIS’s emphasis on sustainability education and practical engagement.

The institute’s faculty includes Prof. Olusegun Okunnu, whose experience includes more than 30 years of scholarly work in organizational structure and realignments, as well as over 20 years of teaching leadership courses online. Developed by FABE International Foundation, FIS presents itself as an educational hub connecting sustainability learning with skills, guidance, and opportunities for emerging leaders.
