Fabelfjord is an animated film company based in Tromsø, Norway. Established in 2013 by writer Endre Lund Eriksen, art director and director Endre Skandfer, and producer Merete Korsberg, Fabelfjord specializes in creating inspiring and engaging stories for children and the young at heart. Situated at nearly 70 degrees north, Fabelfjord draws its inspiration from the mystical northern lights in winter and the spectacular midnight sun in summer. The company has produced a range of films, including Dunder (2016), Theodors magiske revansj (2017), Rudy og lynmonsteret (2019), and Menneskets opprinnelse (2019), as well as commissioned films for various organizations. Endre Skandfer, the creative director and chairman, brings over fifteen years of experience in the animation industry. Endre Lund Eriksen, the managing director, producer, director, and screenwriter, is a renowned children's book author and has also directed episodes for children's TV series. Fabelfjord continues to create captivating animated films, with upcoming projects including Noras Ark and Hjemmekontor..
