## Description

FACES UK CIC (Family Activities Community Engagement Support UK) is a community organisation led by local people and based at The Lighthouse Sports and Social Hub in Harwich. Established to bring people together, reduce isolation and create positive opportunities, it provides a welcoming space where families, children, young people and residents can connect and find support. Its work combines inclusive activities with practical community services, helping people feel valued and strengthening local relationships.

The organisation offers family and children’s activities such as holiday clubs and toddler sessions, as well as skating and Kangoos. Its programmes also include Teen Time, a Saturday social hub at The Lighthouse featuring activities such as sports, basketball, football, table tennis, darts, baking and mocktail making. FACES UK CIC provides food support, SEND support, mental health support and health-related resources, including a free guide to managing asthma and hypertension. The Lighthouse also hosts a community social hub.
