## Description

FACMA S.R.L. is an Italian manufacturer of agricultural machinery, founded in 1971 and based in Vitorchiano, in the province of Viterbo. The company designs and builds equipment for soil cultivation and the mechanized harvesting of nuts, as well as systems for drying, cleaning and storing agricultural produce. Its machinery serves crops including hazelnuts, chestnuts, walnuts, almonds, macadamia nuts, pecans and palm fruit.

FACMA’s product range includes flail mowers and shredders, inter-row discs, trailed and self-propelled harvesters, rotary sweepers, blowers and windrowers. The company also offers equipment and installations for post-harvest handling. Designs are developed in-house, and machines are tested on farms owned by the company’s proprietors before being brought to market.

FACMA distributes its products through dealers in several countries and has a branch in Chile; around half of its turnover comes from international markets. The company also uses photovoltaic panels to generate electricity for its own consumption.
