## Description

A joint project of the Foundation Lindenhof Bern and the Knee Surgery Research Group of Sonnenhof Orthopaedic Centre in Bern, it brings research from trusted sources into a personalized feed.

Users can search for topics and people, follow keywords, and discover relevant papers, journals, and news. Its intelligent search engine explores multiple source systems and supports full-text searches, helping users find information beyond article metadata. The platform regularly gathers material from sources including PubMed, BMJ, Elsevier, Wiley, Scientific Reports, PLOS, PNAS, and the American Chemical Society, with more sources added over time.

facter.io covers medical and health science, biology, chemistry, engineering, social sciences, physics, business, and other fields. Members can comment on, rate, and share content, as well as connect with people who share their interests. Notifications help users follow new publications matching their chosen topics.
