## Description

Factory Intelligence is a robotics company that helps manufacturers automate hands-on production work using tactile robot arms. Its arms are designed to sense contact as they work, enabling them to handle tasks that rigid, fixed-path automation can struggle with when parts bend, snag, or shift. The company says its technology is already running production shifts at an electrical prefab shop in Indiana, performing wire preparation and assembly on real orders.

Factory Intelligence delivers robotics as a service, taking on one task at a time, with examples including wire prep, kitting, and assembly. Customers pay a flat monthly fee per arm, scoped to the task, with pricing starting at an effective rate of about $3 per hour. The service includes the arms, tooling, software, and maintenance, without requiring a capital purchase. The company works with customers to assess their production line, scope a paid pilot, and deploy the equipment. Its system gathers operational data from the fleet to improve its models and share those improvements across deployed arms.
