Food & Agribusiness Development Company (FADC) Limited is a social enterprise dedicated to transforming smallholder farmers into food-sufficient and profitable agribusiness entities. Operating in Lilongwe, Malawi, FADC buys farmers' produce at fair prices and provides them with improved agri-inputs and training. We also assist medium- and large-scale farmers in increasing profitability. Our vision is to create a fully employed Malawi and a progressive Africa. To achieve this, FADC develops innovative food and agro-based enterprises and helps others do the same, aiming to eliminate unemployment, food insecurity, and poverty. FADC has two main functions: FADC Production, which focuses on profitable farm development, trade, value chain investments, and value addition; and FADC Projects, which implements initiatives to enhance food availability, quality, and access, as well as supports the food and agribusiness sectors.
